HelioArt introduce Seongyoun Koo's sweet and bright works called to celebrate upcoming Fall 2014. 

Seongyoun Koo break and attach candies one by one to make a flower and she takes a picture of it. A gorgeous colors of colorful candies become an abundant flowers. However like when a flower suddenly withered, a sweetness of sugar in candy also melts. Seongyoun Koo reveals the desire of one chasing the pleasure of the moment by enlarging the candy flowers 

Seongyoun Koo expressed the desire of the human through the symbolism with flowers and candy, and her work will deliver appropriate visual message to us in present time.

헬리오아트는 2014년 가을을 맞아 화사하고 달콤한 구성연 작가의 작품을 소개하는 전을 개최한다.

구성연은 사탕을 일일이 깨고 다듬고 붙여서 꽃을 만들어 사진으로 찍는다. 형형색색의 화려하고 영롱한 사탕은 풍성한 꽃이 되어 화면을 가득 채운다. 그러나 마치 꽃이 한 순간에 시들어버리듯 사탕의 달콤함도 어느새 녹아버린다. 구성연은 사탕으로 만든 꽃을 과잉 확대하여 만든 작품을 오래 지속되지 못하는 찰나의 쾌락을 쫓는 인간의 욕망을 드러낸다. 

꽃과 사탕이 가진 상징성을 통해 인간의 욕망을 표현한 구성연 작가의 작품은 현재를 살아가는 우리들에게 적절한 시각적 자극과 메시지를 전달할 것이다.
